I'm sad too, from just up the coast about 10 kilometers. Wishing there was something to do to make the situation better and it hurts that there isn't. But it felt good to see all the folks here wishing you well. I just love you and hope to be your friend for many years to come

hi
i just now stumbled across your blog and i was enchanted by your lovely watercolors.
your lively spirit comes across in your blog and your generosity with the photos of the workshops you were lucky enough to attend.

i am shocked that something terrible has happened to make you unable to paint.
although i am a stranger to you i would like to add my wishes to those of your friends that your sorrow will lift.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling sad--do something good for yourself--you deserve that. I wish I could send you a comforting hug. You'll be in my thoughts. You create such beauty in your work.

Well, As Hericlitus once said, The only constant is change. You know, of course, that through drawing and painting, you're forced to experience the present moment which (almost regardless of what is happening) is really pretty magnificent. Lots of love...

Thank you for letting us know. I will be sending positive energy your way. In the meantime, a short, but true story about a man I worked with who lost his young wife. He was physically there, but not really. When I asked him how he was doing, he said, "Sometimes you have to work your way into feeling."

I will never forget that.

Draw sad - don't draw sad to be happy, draw sad to draw - your calm and alive drawings show your view not sad - draw sad to show us sad - one day when the sadness fades - you will want to thank time for taking away the sadness - if you have drawings of sadness - you will remember it... good luck

Dear One, It takes time, grief has a life of it's own. One day the sun does come out.

I am in such JOY for the things that were said by Suzanne McDermott, Penny and Ami Vidar. They have a tender touch.

Everyone else has such love and concern for you, you are being held in LOVE on earth and in heaven.

We all await your return.

I just discovered your blog and would love to see more Israeli art from you. I hope you will start posting again soon.
The Israeli doctors did such a wonderful job setting up their hospital in Haiti this week and helping so many injured people there. I was proud to be a Jew.
