Miriam's Table

and I stayed in Miriam's cozy spot hidden within Shuk Bezelel (or as I always knew it...the shmatah shuk) while she traveled.

As a art quilt artist I am drawn to this painting for even more reasons than the beautiful use of paint. You so inspire me to continue to try working in watercolors. But it's okay, I've decided if there are artists out there who are far superior to me. LOL You are and it's okay. I love coming here and enjoying your work...and it inspires me to do more of what I am good at. Thanks for coming back.
I hope all is well in your world.

Hi Carol,
I am so, so happy to see you painting and posting again! I was really delighted to check back a few weeks ago and see the blog updated! I have a question for you - can you recommend any painting classes in the Jerusalem area? I painted when I was younger, and I would really love to start again. Thanks!

Glad to see you're back in action! It's always so encourageing to see how artists are such a tight-knit community. Even though we may not know each other personally, we all share similar passions - keep up the great work!

Beautiful colors, all so crisp. The quilts are great, and I love the fringed cloth and the objects on the table ... not the mention the perspective!
I wonder what size this painting is? For some reason I think it's smallish?
